Wooden Thonet Bentwood Dining Chair
Shipping calculated at checkout
We have one of these hooped back Thonet Bentwood chairs available. This chair is particularly special because it was Thonet who designed and manufactured the first Bentwood chairs. He pioneered the process of steam bending beech into chairs.
More Details
The chair dates from around the 1920s.
The burnt in Thonet stamp can been seen on the underside of the chair.
The plan is to give it a good clean and wax to really bring out the colour of the wood.
