Large Letterpress Tray from Hungary
Shipping calculated at checkout
Description
We love this larger letterpress tray from Hungary. It has lots of different compartments which would be great for displaying mini figures, beach finds and other trinkets and treasures.
We plan on giving it a good clean and then varnishing. We will try and leave as many of the markings on as possible as just adds to its charm and character. We will also add a new back which will be painted in Farrow & Balls Raw Tomatillo, a really striking green. See last photo for another we did in this colour.
The letterpress tray is a little heavier than the smaller ones so will need to be securely attached to the wall. You can either drill holes directly into the back of the letterpress tray or use hanging plates. All very straight forward.
Please note this is a vintage item which has been used and loved and will therefore still show signs of its past post restoration.
Dimensions if hung landscape:
Height: 71cm
Width: 95cm
Depth of holes: 6cm
Depth of overhang at top: 8cm
