Customer Inspiration - March 2022

Lots of brilliant goods have made their way to new homes over the last couple of months and we always love to show them in situ. This month's post is a real mix of customised desk and chair sets and storage solutions. Take a look below and as always do let us know what you think or if you are after anything similar.

Customised Desks

Whenever we get these French double desks in they are always a huge hit because they offer both a great creative space and storage underneath. The lovely Georgia Lewis chose Nancy's Blushes for both the desk and chair and here they are all set up in her daughters bedroom. If you are after something similar we have another French double available which can be customised with a Farrow and Ball colour of your choice.

We love a lift up lid desk but you don't often find doubles with metal legs so this was a real find. The legs have been painted in Light Blue and the chairs in Arsenic, a great combo. We think it looks fabulous in Gemma Grierson's sons bedroom especially against the dark blue wall.

We do have some all wooden doubles with lift up lids that are new into the workshop. They are also Esavian which is even better and they come with chairs. Check them out on our virtual workshop page!

The below single desk and chair have been painted in Blazer, a lovely rich red which again works so well against the blue wall. Above you can see a wooden pigeon hole with a lovely red trim which ties in so well with the desk. Three great Blue ticking products working brilliantly together in the home of Laura Hurst.

I'm a little bit in love with this next desk because the frame has been painted in one of my favourites colours, Arsenic. Hollie Savory's artwork feels right at home above it and I would feel very happy and content sat in this space.

If you are after a desk either customised or not then we have a quite a few options available on our website under desks and the virtual workshop page. Take a look and please get in touch if you have any questions.

Beautiful art bench

When we were given the opportunity to buy a couple of these incredible art benches from Cheltenham Ladies College we had to say yes! Both were full of character with paint splattered tops which just oozed character and provided a really special patina. One of the art benches went to Ria Woodhouse's home where it's being used as a sewing table. Such an incredible creative space.

Storage goals!

Over the last few months we have found some really wonderful tambour cabinets. These have fast become a favourite of ours due to their aesthetics and practical features. We love the fact that the front slides down to reveal the storage inside. It's not often we find one as big as the one below in Nina Stevenson's home. It has three separate tambours which slide down when you turn the key. We think it looks amazing in Nina's hallway.

If you like a tambour cabinet as much as we do we have a number of them available on our virtual workshop page. All are different sizes with different configurations inside.

This wooden cupboard looks perfect in Victoria Owen's home. It's got the ideal dimensions for books and because it's not overly deep or big it doesn't look too imposing but fits brilliantly in this space.

Our final customer picture is from Victoria Walkinshaw and it showcases our blue metal crates. These offer great storage and the fact they stack makes them particularly useful.
