I hope you've all had a lovely month despite the weather! The sun is finally making an appearance though which feels very overdue! I also quite can't believe we are half way through the year already! We've been back sourcing beautiful goods at antiques fairs which always brings me so much joy. There is nothing like hunting for new stock in person and finding that special piece or revelling in a deal!
This month's customer inspiration blog features some fabulous spaces as always, with some fantastic pops of colour. I hope they inspire you and give you some ideas!
Office Spaces
Our vintage goods aren't just for the home, this month we've kindly been sent this fabulous image from the Learning Resources UK office. They've paired our striking Esavian art table with a bold print and bright red wall which we think works perfectly. Don't you just love the bench too? I'd love to get my hands on something similar!
If you are after something with a bit of character and shows its previous life do check out our paint splattered art tables with adjustable tops. Super cool and super fun!
A Learning Corner
Now the kids are all back at school I love seeing how you style your homework stations. We love to customise desks as you know and Hannah from @theottohouse decided to go down this route. She chose one of our double French desks and went for Studio Green on the legs. It has Formica lift up lids which provide ample storage. We love how Hannah has styled this corner of the room, all of the colours work so well together.
Just look at this amazing wallpaper below, definitely one of my favourites. It makes this corner of the room bright, colourful and fantastic! Heather, another one of our fabulous customers chose a customised single desk painted in India yellow, which works so well with the other furniture in the room and of course the wallpaper! We still have a few of these desks available, check them out here.
Practical Pieces
We always love to see our goods in children's spaces, but they also work equally brilliantly all over the house! It's so great to see how versatile the furniture can be and the imaginative ways you all use them. In our customer Melissa's dreamy bathroom, she's used our wooden glass cabinet to store towels and it's just perfect! It's the ideal spot for it and the dark wood works so well against the soft pink walls.
We absolutely love these Lollipop soda crates and have sold quite a few over the years. We always love to see how they have been styled and used in different ways. Helena, who is one of our wonderful customers keeps her on the kitchen table to store various items. They are great for housing all sorts of things and what's even better is that you can pick them up and move them whenever you want. We hope to have more of these in stock in a month or so.
As always we love seeing our furniture in your homes so please do send us your pictures for a chance to be featured next month. Don't forget that we can also help source goods for your home to take the searching and stress away! Just drop us an email at info@blueticking.co.uk with all the info.
