I can't quite believe it's nearly the end of June, but I'm quite impressed with myself that I've managed to get another customer inspiration blog written! As many will know this is where we like to share photos of our goods in your homes and we have a bumper edition this month!
Display goals
I love showing off trinkets and treasures and when we found two of these glass display cabinets I knew they would go down a storm with our customers. Luckily Hannah Watts managed to nab one straight away to show off her daughters much loved Pez collection! How good does it look?

Next up is this stunning wooden pigeon hole that was bought by Sarah Fennell-Fox. It was the perfect unit to show off her wax melts.

Helena Saunders is one of Blue Tickings most supportive customers and so it's always lovely to find new bits for her beautiful home. She managed to secure this slightly larger letterpress tray (always very popular when we have them) to show off her sons mini figures. If you are after something similar we do have some larger letterpress trays from Hungary in stock and these can be found on our workshop page.

Dreamy desks!
Another of Helena Saunders Blue Ticking purchases is this classic school desk with lift up lid and metal legged chair. The hinges of the desk and chairs legs have been painted in a lovely soft Farrow and Ball colour which works so well with the half yellow wall. A brilliant spot to get creative at. If you're after a similar desk do head online to see what we have in stock.
Helena more recently bought the metal crate with birch ply top which is being used as a bedside table. It offers plenty of space on the top and storage underneath because you can lift the top off. We love these crates so much, they are incredibly versatile and very easy on the eye!

Something we get really excited about it when we totally transform goods to make them more user friendly or easy on the eye! This is exactly the case with incredible double desk with birch ply top. It originally started out as a classic double school desk with the lift up lids. However the lids weren't great and they had a strange formica top to them which we didn't think would work for people.
John had a brilliant idea that we could remove the lids, cut out some very useful shelves at the front and add a birch ply top. The frame could then be painted in a colour of your choosing. We had four of these desks available and Julie Richardson managed to claim one for her sons room. She had specific space in mind so we made the top slightly less deep to enable it to work and then the frame was customised in Farrow and Balls Moles Breath. How good does it look? We have one of these desks left, for all the vital stats and info head online.
