After a much longer than anticipated break from school, (6 MONTHS!) it seems the normality of sending the children back to school has finally arrived! Before we know it the shops will be full of Autumn colours and Christmas goodies and I know I'm keeping everything crossed that we can keep moving forward.
Now that most children have been back for a week it seems like the perfect time to create a motivational and creative space for them to have some down time and get on with the dreaded homework. We therefore thought it would be helpful to share some of our favourite back to school desks that will help transform their space.
The French Metal Legged Single Desk
This has to be one of our favourite desks because we can easily customise to suit any colour scheme. Each desk comes with a handy shelf for storing all their stationary and bits and bobs! Kids will love the colourful legs, (we have over 20 Farrow and Ball colours to choose from) and you can make the process fun by asking them to pick a colour so they are involved from the start and love it as much as you do.
Classic Wooden Doubles Desks with Chalkboard lids
Who doesn't enjoy having extra space to doodle and be creative? Our classic wooden desks bring back all sorts of memories for us and we love sharing these with the kids. Not only have we added a fun chalkboard lid, but they also provide plenty of storage to hide all the 'stuff' kids love to leave around. These are a great option for siblings too because there is plenty of space for two children to sit side by side.
Esavian School Desk
You don't get much cooler than a vintage Esavian school desk! Esavian was the trading brand name for the Educational Supply Association Ltd, a leading supplier of school books, furniture and fixtures that you probably had in your own classroom once upon a time! We love these desks because they come in a variety of styles and sizes to suit every space. Choose from a formica topped table with unique pattern or very cool metal legged singles with half lift up lid.
Wooden Desk with Drawer
This style of desk is for the bedroom that is a bit tight on space. It fits nicely into any corner and even has a handy storage drawer. We have a variety of coloured drawers, ready for your little ones to pick their favourite. We can even paint the drawer to your own favourite colour!
Hopefully the above has given you a taste of the desks we currently have on offer, all perfect for the return to school. I hope everyone is settling back into the school routine and wishing everyone all the luck going forward after the strangeness of the last six months.
