After a few busy months, we are back with our customer inspiration blog. This is where will be showcasing your wonderful photos of our goods so that others can be inspired. It will provide a great insight into how our furniture can work in various spaces within your home and bring you fresh inspiration on a monthly basis. Desks galore

Most of us have been homeschooling the last couple of months so we've got some desk areas to inspire you. Sitting by this bright beautiful window in Sam's home is one of our single metal legged desks which we painted in St Giles Blue. Its been paired with a green wooden chair from Brussels, one of our favourite chairs. The colours work perfectly together and we think it adds even more of a pop of colour to this wonderful room. We have one more of these desks left in stock. They aren't online so if keen just drop us an email at info@blueticking.co.uk. You can choose the colour of the legs and hinges so it's a totally bespoke option.

Our next homeschooling area is from a lovely customer called Laura. The desk and chair sit nicely in the corner of the room. Laura chose one of our lift up lid wooden desks and pink metal legged chairs. We painted the lid with chalkboard paint and for the hinges she chose the striking St Giles Blue. With the shelves above her daughter has everything she needs to hand. It's a great space that works so well for homeschooling and just being creative.

Here's another one of our wooden lift up desks in the home of Tina Gately. It's a great little set up all ready for work to start! The hinges on the desk and wooden chair have been painted in Studio Green.

We've got wallpaper envy with this next customer photo, look at those peaches! Jess chose our French vintage red desk and chair set for Wren's bedroom and it beautifully compliments the rest of this stunning room. It provides a great little space to draw and create.

Get Organised!

Up next is organisation inspiration at its best! Our customer Lisa has used this metal industrial storage unit for all things arts and crafts and we couldn't think of a better use ourselves! Each compartment is full to the brim with colourful pens and pencils, ready for a creative rainy afternoon. The perfect storage solution for a playroom/family room or bedroom.

Last but not least is the desk in Maggie's (our youngest daughters) room. It was her birthday in January and she was desperate for a bigger desk with more storage. We customised this desk by stripping the original French metal frame and repainting it in Hague Blue and we then made a new birch ply top with matching drawers. I love how we have mixed the old with the new and how well it sits with other pieces in her room. She is over the moon with her new space and as we are spending a lot of time inside right now it makes me so happy to see her organising her room and desk into a space she loves.
